The Firm, with a team comprising Lorenzo Piccardi, Simone Zucchetti, Giulio Tombesi and Matteo Rovaris, provided tax advice to Eni in connection with a long-term partnership aimed at enhancing the value of a portfolio of upstream assets structured on an infrastructure basis.
The transaction was implemented through the execution of an agreement with AC Europe II SCSp, an entity managed by Ares Credit Management, and provides for a capital contribution of USD 2 billion.
